Maisa Metcalf, Energy Coaching & Outreach Coordinator

Maisa Metcalf, at right in photo above, is CLEER's bilingual energy coach and outreach coordinator. As an energy coach, she helps home and business owners learn more about energy savings, utility rebates, and low-interest loan opportunities to help pay for energy upgrades. She also handles CLEER's community outreach, and she tracks energy data that supports CLEER's objectives.

Prior to joining CLEER, she worked for Groundwork Colorado, a non-profit located in Denver that promotes sustained improvement of the physical environment, health and well-being through community-based partnerships and action.

Maisa earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies and sustainability at Colorado Mountain College in 2015, after earning an associate's of arts degree with honors in 2012. She is certified as a building analyst by the Building Performance Institute.

Maisa is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and she moved to the Roaring Fork Valley because of the friendly community and beautiful scenery. She lives with her husband, Gavin, in Glenwood Springs, and enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding, hiking and cycling.
