Electric vehicles are growing in popularity, and tax credits and rebates make them increasingly affordable. Come to one of these free events to learn all about going electric!
EVs are for everybody now! They’re fun to drive, don’t generate polluting tailpipe emissions, and are significantly cheaper to own and operate than conventional vehicles. The range of models on the market is becoming steadily better, with a number of all-electric cars, SUVs, crossovers and trucks now available. EV charging is easier than ever, as the network of charging stations is expanding rapidly.
Come learn all about EVs – and kick some tires – at the Experience Electric Road Show, coming to four locations this spring (see sidebar/below for details).
Here’s what to expect:
- EVs 101: Learn the basics of electric vehicles, EV charging, cost of ownership, tax credits (for used EVs too!) and more in this bilingual presentation. Snacks provided.
- Ride & drive: Test drive new and used cars and e-bikes, talk to EV owners and dealer reps, and get advice from local clean-energy nonprofits on how to take maximum advantage of tax credits and other incentives.
It’s all free, including childcare!
