CLEER, Garfield Clean Energy and the Colorado Energy Office are teaming up to bring the Plug It In EV Roadshow to Carbondale on Friday, June 7.

This will be the fourth and final stop of the Plug It In tour, after dates in Grand Junction, Steamboat and Eagle, and we’re going out with a bang. The event coincides with First Friday, so you’ll be able to combine your EV tire-kicking with street-strolling, art-viewing and dancing! (See sidebar/below for details.)

EVs are for everybody now! Tax credits and rebates make them increasingly affordable. They’re fun to drive, don’t generate polluting tailpipe emissions, and are significantly cheaper to own and operate than conventional vehicles. The range of models on the market is becoming steadily better, with a number of all-electric cars, SUVs, crossovers and trucks now available. EV charging is easier than ever, as the network of charging stations is expanding rapidly.
