Two Rivers Connect launched the Way to Roll program to encourage residents, commuters, employers, and visitors in the Colorado River and Roaring Fork valleys to explore new ways of getting around—bike, walk, ride the bus, carpool, vanpool, or work from home—and rewards participants for shifting even one trip per week.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, the program will include a range of challenges and prizes for participants, including the August campaign, the October challenge, and the winter campaign. Participants are encouraged to use the app for information on upcoming challenges.

Two Rivers Connect is part of a larger pilot project to support the development of a Transportation Management Organization (TMO) in the Colorado River and Roaring Fork Valleys.

TMOs work directly with employers, local governments, transit agencies, and community groups to manage traffic and congestion. They provide support, incentives, and practical options that help people choose alternatives to driving alone, such as biking, walking, carpooling, remote work, or using public transportation.
